Council District 6: Central Park, Lincoln Square, Upper West Side, Clinton
The current incumbent, Helen Rosenthal–a former photo client of mine nearly a decade ago as she prepared her initial council run–is now term limited. Although she has only just hit the scene, our first dot plot in this series features the current Manhattan Borough President, Gale Brewer, who is seeking her old council seat.
